This post will be a bit emotional for me. If you are a reader of this blog you may remember me saying that a few weeks before my father in law passed away I asked him if once he got up there if he would send Daniel and I a little boy. (Click here to view that post) He knew we had been trying for the past 5 years. Before this point he always said we were and a quote "plum crazy for wanting more kids." But that day when I asked him you said he would see what he could do.
Just shy of 2 years after he passed he came through for us.
We found out that we were expecting. I'm not sure who was more in shock Daniel or I,
Since then I've really doubted that this baby was a boy. It just didn't seem possible to me. After all Daniel has THREE girls. Two of them being ours. I just didn't think he "made" boys.
When the ultrasound tech said "did you see that?"
and I said "yes" I burst into tears.
Explaining this story to her she got a little teary eyed as well.
Some might call it a coincidence and that may be...
but we are calling it
Roll Roll
still looking out for us
and I know it in my heart...
