Life is a rainbow, it's a Spring Snow, It's the Mornin' Dew.~Phil Vasser

What a surprise this morning! Snow.... at first I was not so happy about seeing it but once we got out to play in it, I realized it was a day for memories to be made! We did not get out this winter to make a snow man, it was just to dang cold...so I guess God gave us one more chance to build a snow man(and or mud man!), while they are still ages 3 and 1. Can you tell I'm feeling a little nostalgic today? I watched that 80's movie "Parenthood" last night and it always seems to do that to me.:) Paytin named her snowman "Chancer"! Yes, she came up with that all on her own! :)Fitting isn’t it...since he probably doesn’t have a snowballs chance in he!! to survive more then 2 days! lol!!! Avary was none to impressed with the snow, she was pointing at it and telling it "no, no"! She really wanted to slide and swing, and had been enjoying our nice 50 degree weather! I'm sure we will be swinging in the next day or two, but for today it was nice having one more chance to play in the snow!

I Think They Love Snow White!

Can you tell! I've known for awhile that Snow White is Avarys Favorite, but I think Paytin is starting to like her alot as well. I can get alot of work done if I pop in this movie! Just thought it was a cute moment! :)

First Sign's Of Spring!

We have been using every nice day there is to get outside and play! Today we found that our tulips are starting to grow! Paytin was so excited, she even says that she is tierd of snow! The girls love to slide and Paytin has shown Avary how to go up the ladder and slide down the slide. Avary is very proud that she can go up and and down the slide, and giggles everytime she does! Paytin has been learning how to pump her legs on the swing, one day we will get the hang of it, she thinks you have to pump alot harder then you really have to and it messes her up. We went to Dance Class today and got Paytins costume for her recital on June 1st. They are really cute they are bears and they are tapping to the song Bear Necessities. I'll post a picture of Paytin in it sometimes soon! Tonight we dyed Easter Eggs. It was fun to be able to include Avary this year...both girls had a blast but Avary feel asleep before we were finished.Tierd little Bug! :)

A Busy Sunday

We got to play outside a little today, before the wind got to cold...the girls love being able to get back outside again! Avary has been going to the coat rack everyday and pointing at her coat saying "on-on" Paytin was mowing, although I don’t know what she was mowing! :) Daddy was down at Roll-Roll Papa's (Grandpa Porter's) so the girls wanted to follow. They had funny playing with Grandpa and Grandmas dog Skippy! They like to wrap him up in blankets and rock him in the chair. I would guess it is fun having a dog their size to play with; Maddie is kind of a horse! :) Down at Roll-Rolls they had cookies and jellybeans, by suppertime we got to order pizza! After supper they helped Daddy sort through stuff up in Roll-Roll Papas Garage. Busy, Busy Little Bee's

Fun in The Sun!

It was nice to get out of the COLD Iowa weather for a while, but now that we are back it seems even colder! We had a good time going with Daddy! The girls really love to truck; it amazes me every time how much they like to travel. Paytin sat up in the front with Daddy most of the time; she gets really into it when he lets her hold on to the stick shift! She just puts her hand on it and assumes that she is driving down the road, its really funny! :) We stayed over night in the truck the first night, the second night we got a motel in Chattanooga T.N. it is so buitful there, if I could move I would want to move there, I remember thinking that this past fall when we drove down too! We definitely need to plan a trip just there just to take in all the area has to offer! From there we made it down to Orlando and spent a day at Disney World! I can tell you that I learned a few lessons...never, never, never stay off site! It is well worth paying for a Disney Resort Hotel! It is so much more relaxing to stay at Disney! You don’t have to worry about anything! Also do not go in the fall or summer like we did, its MUCH more enjoyable when you can stand to be outside! And RENT a DISNEY stroller...they really do feel like you are pushing nothing, last time pushing our double stroller wore everyone out! We did have a good time and got to do a bunch of the stuff we didn’t get to do this fall at the Magic Kingdom! Its amazing that in just six months the girls have grown up so much, both were way more into the experience. We got a chance to see the Disney Spectral Lights parade and both of them were so into it! Avary even waved at Mickey Mouse and Minnie! And cried when they were out of sight! Paytin loved every minute of the whole thing and kept saying thanks for bringing me again! We had a good time, and it was nice to get to spend a whole week with daddy
