30 Days Of Thankful: For Being Ethans Aunt

Im thankful for my nephew Ethan. I love him! :) I find it fun that through my mild psychicness I knew he was coming...before his parents did. I told Daniel in August of '10 Tiffany and Eric are having a baby SOON and he was born in May of '11...hes learned to believe me on all things baby ;)  Im excited to be an aunt!
Aunts can be pretty awesome, if you ask me.
Aunts are there to give Mom a break, or to fill in when Mom is working.  Aunts are there to change diapers, wipe noses, and kiss away tears. Aunts are there to celebrate the milestones and victories. Thank you Ethan for making me an Aunt! I hope when things get settled for us we can spend more time together!

30 Days Of Thankful: Paytin

Today, I am reminded of how thankful I am for Paytin. She has taught me the more about love then any other person ever has. After all, she was the first to teach me what it is like to love someone before you even know them.  She has changed me in more ways then I can count. For the better. From the very start Ive loved you Paytin and I always will!

30 Days Of Thankful: Life

Yes, I’m still here. I’ve been busy…and lazy about blogging. But I promise I won’t miss a day at all this month. It’s a new month and I’m starting a new blog project: 30 Days of Thanks. I got the idea from one of my friends who is doing it on her Facebook page. Basically, I’ll be posting at least one thing that I’m thankful for every day this month, which means no more blogger laziness! Not only is this going to be a fun little project, but it’ll also be a good way to remind myself of what this blog was originally supposed to be about: finding joy and remembering each special moment as they come.

This year has been something, hasnt it? Sometimes I wake up and wonder if it all really happend. We are adjusting. Id like to say we are all still here but thats not completley true either as we have lost Roll Roll Papa. So today, today I am thankful for LIFE. Im thankful we all survived an F3 tornado and Im thankful for having known and for the fact that my children go to know their Grandpa Porter...even though it was brief. Life shouldnt be taken for granted it is fragilel..so fragile its almost scary. But in the fragile part is were we learn and grow. Life...Im very thankful to have more of it ahead of me, no matter if our life is totally up in the air right now its a blessing to just have more days ahead of us...
So for the next 30 days in no particular order I will post the things I am thankful for.

Haunted Halloween 2011

First off THANK YOU to who ever ordered the perfect weather this halloween!! Im not sure there have been many Halloweens with temps in the 50's while trick or treating! This year we finally rid ourselves of the Disney princeses and Avary chose to be Cleopatra and Paytin a Southern Bell! Yay! We all know I LOVE disney but there comes a point...right? Anyway Grandpa got to drive us around this year as Daniel was stuck in the field. We did two street (Grandpa is a bit of a hurry up Halloween man lol) But, really who needs that much candy when I cant eat it anymore! We spent the rest of the evening at Grandma and Grandpa Flammangs visting with them and Eric, Tiffany and Ethan (who was a cute little turtle)

Reason number 1 Million

why we will never ever, ever, ever have a vaccine in this family. There are enough problems with the "tested" ones.... None of this will ever make any sense to me. I hope one day people wake up to what is really going on here. Until then I will do my best to educate and pray for all those who have not yet figured it out. It just makes me so angry...

Paytin's got the no training wheel thing down! All thanks to Grandpa Flammang!  I think its great...the same guy who taught me to ride a bike taught my daughter. {Warm Fuzzy's all around} Anyway this is BIG, epic maybe even...she was so afraid to do it for the longest time. High Five Dad...thanks!

Us Girls...in a new chapter

The three of us all grown up
Hello, love's!!  Let me be the first to tell you that I am incredibly honored and blessed to be your friend.  We've been through it all together the good and the bad of a friendship built on 23 years and yet we love each other endlessly, without questions. We all know that that I come with lots of emotions, sometimes Kylee gets snappy and every now and then Amy is a tad (speaking of Tad ladies...nah...) late.  I want you to know that I wouldn’t be complete without the two of you. We have shaped each others lives in big ways and small ways. Its always been the three of us...and lets face it we know to much about each other to be enemies! We are the three musketeers, the snap to our crackle and pop, the paper and to rock and scissors.
As we start this new chapter of our lives in which we are all (finally lol) Mrs." Somebody" I want to tell you if there’s ever a day when your heart is breaking, and tears are falling  I will be there FOREVER for anything. But lets not forget about the happy times ahead of us as well...Im waiting for the both of you to have some babies and get fat already for God sakes ;)  Seriously...hurry up...
I am so grateful that the God placed you in my life.
I couldnt have asked for two better  people to share the
EVERYTHINGS
with in life
Love you girls!!!
Congrats Kylee and Nate I wish you a lifetime of happiness and love....

(and Babies...haha)

Our Favorite Fall Place

Had to take a picture with the the skeleton that looked like Benny from the movie Halloween Town

 First Poney Ride :)

The troll was home...and telling storys

 Nah...Turcky is way better

 Being "creepy witches"

Paytins pig nearing first place...I believe her pigs name was Swinra Bullock
 Our piggy noses

 Ahhh...shes so funny

We did get lost! Big time! We did however find another lady and her son...also lost. Then the group of us found a Valas employee who said he could lead us out. After following him around for about 10 minutes he turns to us and says..."Um Ive only been working here for 4 days" We thanked him and continued on our own and finally found our way out about 5 minutes latter.
On our way to the patch
A couple of the many pumpkins we got...we are pumpkin fans! :)

Although we havent been in a few years, Valas is our favorite fall place. If anything it has only gotten better. As far as I know, there is no other Pumpkin Patchs around that can even come close to Valas! We visted on opening day today and it was as if they run all year long.  They have everything from Candy Apples to Pig Races (Paytin was picked for the pink pig watcher and her pig one. Hence the pig noses lol) I need to take pictures yet of out pumpkins they are all good sized but we got an extra special treat this year...since we visted on opening day they still had GIANT pumpkins left. The ladys at the pumpkin weigh station called for someone to come up with a cart and pick us up. They took us out to the giant pumpkin field and we got to pick our own! Im not sure who was more excited about it Daniel or the girls...um ok it was Daniel! He was smiling from ear to ear :)
