Puppy Love

 

If we are not rushing around our morning this is were you will find these two! :)  Maddie was 2 years old the summer Paytin was born and I think she feel just as much in love with her as we did. They have always had a special bond that makes me smile.  :)

Maddie is the best "kid dog" anyone could ask for. She sleeps by their door most nights, watches their every move outside, and has lovingly received ear tugs, being climbed and poked in the eye when the girls were babies.  She still comes back for more which must mean she loves em and we love her!

Weekend Mornings

I love weekend mornings.  No rushing, no pleading with children to get out of bed. Breakfast that turns into brunch and time as a family. NOTHING is better! :) Happy Weekend!!!

TRH

otherwise known as the The Texas Roadhouse ;) Daniel and the kids love it...I personally have had enough. Can some other restaurant (that my husband likes) please move into our area OMG!!! LOL.

We had to run to S. City tonight to get parts for the semi...I think that truck has I direct link to our bank account! It sees we are getting ahead and figures it might as well break down now...but that's another post on its own :)

Anyway Daniel and the kids figured it would be as good a time as any to eat here...again...blah.
I know lots of you might get offended by me saying I hate the TRH...sorry its not that the food isn't good...I'm just sick to death of it ! LOL. There are only about 3 things I like on the menu so kind of limiting... I made Daniel branch out the other day and go to the Olive Garden...drum roll please...he LOVED it. Phew...thank God!!!

Walkabout

I can not wait for spring in full swing...ok thats dumb and it rhyme's...lame..but its the truth!  I am soooo tired of being stuck in the house, so I am sure the girls feel the same way! Avary asks A LOT when the pool will open so if thats any sign...then...yes...she wants OUT too! LOL.  It always seems like just when you are ready to go bat shitten crazy and scream LET ME THE HELL OUT OF THIS HOUSE...spring arrives...thank God! I dont know how people in colder climates do it.  Id be seasonally depressed and have to move for sure. Its bad enough here!!!

But...luckily today it was around 50 so we took advantage of an after school walk. It always surprises me how much these girls love to walk. They can just about circle the whole outer edge out town without getting tired....progress...I used to have to drag the double stroller with us...

Sleepy Heads

Yeah...so we are NOT morning people! LOL. This is every school day...I have to start waking them up a half an hour earlier then I need and take away the blankets to just to get them out of bed on time. (errr sort of on time lol)  I really think the school day should start at 10. It really should and hopefully next year it does :)

Awaiting Spring

Sssshhh don't tell we were suppose to be helping Daniel and Paytin wash the semi but Avary and I managed to sneak off to the deck to soak up some sun! We had a nice time looking through my seed magazine and dreaming about what we are going to put in the garden this year.  I for sure know that Avary will not let us forget to plant the tomatoes...the girley eats them like apples...no lie!

Time Well Spent

I don't think I have spent a whole day alone with Paytin since Avary was born. I don't know how that happened of why but I think it might be true. Not saying there hasn't been the random grocery store run or an appointment were we got some time together...but a whole day?! No :(  I'm so happy we got this one! :)  On Tuesday Paytin had a temp of 104 nothing else but a bit of a sore throat the next day she ran a 99 and I kept her home again today just for some R&R. Avary wanted to go to school so we took her and then came home. I got the house picked up from its messy "sick child state" (I was amazed home much I can get done without a 4 year old lol) and then since she was feeling better Paytin and I took a walk around town. Im going to make sure we get these days more often, days with just her and I...I've missed it! I love knowing the little lady shes turning out to be I'm so proud to be her Mommy!

Happy Valentines Day

Have you ever wondered...

what 50 degrees looks like? Well, it looks like this!!! What a GREAT day! The girls and I spent the day outside chipping away at the ice and snow on the deck,swinging and just plain soaking up the sun. It didnt take long for them to throw off those coats either. I think just maybe that groundhog was right the other day...maybe just maybe it will be an early spring! Daniel spent the day inside, I think he was a little afraid to venture outside since being outside usually means smoking. Hes trying very hard to stop. We are very proud of him...afraid to talk to him (LOL) but proud of him just the same. Oh and just ignore Avarys face lol...apparently you use Halloween paint on your face while you wait for your mom to get ready to go outside ;)

Faith

today was a stressful day...to say the least. Roll Roll Papa had a hard morning, for sure not one of his better days. I hate cancer...I hate it for Harold and Sharon, I hate it for my husband, I hate it for my kids, I hate it for everyone involved. It takes to many to early Daniels mom included.  But our Grandpa isn't one to give up hes pretty strong willed...hopefully someplace there is a glimmer of hope that things could still turn around. But in the end God is who gets to chose...so it was comforting tonight to come from their house and see such a beautiful sunset. Keeping the Faith....

Party Time

On Wed night we were busy filling out Valentines. Avary had her party on Thursday and Patyin will have her party on Valentines Day. This year we picked up Dr Seuss Valentines and Tootsie Rolls. One of the best things about attending DC...one box of Valentines and 1 bag of candy is enough for both classes AND THERE IS PLENTY OF LEFT OVER CANDY ;) LOL

Already?!

Yep Already! Miss Avary could and would spend HOURS in front of a mirror if you let her. I find it kind of funny ( give it 10 years I'm sure I will find it less funny LOL) how much she really likes to get all dolled up! Im really not nor have I ever been that much of a girly girl and I cant say that Paytin really is either. I'll blame it on her watching Tirsha...yes Trisha I am balming it all on you ;)

Mass

The K and 1st grade classes got to plan mass today. I always love attending these they sing such cute songs and have learned sign language to the words as well. Looks like the whole church is dancing every time a song comes up. This time Paytin was chose to cantor (sing) and she did a great job! Amazes me just how big she is getting!

Weekends

Daniel has been doing some runs out to PA. It stinks :( I remember why we decided to have him come back home. Sure the money is good over the road but Im not sure its worth all the moments we miss as a family. We managed to steal sometime with him and go to a movie and out to eat this weekend though it did all of us good! :)
