Halloween Fun!

First Day Of Kindergarten!

I dont know how we got here but...here we are...starting Kindergarten! Wow! I dont know how she got so big!!! Paytin is so excited for Tomorrow she has been counting down the days for weeks. Tonight we got to go to a picnic and open house at the school. Paytins room is awsome and I know she is going to have lots of fun! Someone remind me of that tomorrow when I cant stop crying! lol

Our Baby is Going to Kindergarten!

She started school this morning,
And she seemed so very small.
As I walked there beside her
In the Kindergarten hall.

And as she took her place beside
the others in the class,
I realized how all too soon
Those first few years can pass.

Remembering, I saw her as
She first learned how to walk.
The words that we alone made out
When she began to talk.

This little girl so much absorbed
In learning how to write.
It seems as though she must have grown
To girlhood overnight.

My eyes were blurred by hastily
I brushed the tears away
Lest by some word or sign of mine
I mar her first big day.

Oh how I longed to stay with her
And keep her by the hand
To lead her through the places
That she couldn’t understand.

And something closely kin to fear
Was mingled with my pride.
I knew she would no longer be
A baby by my side.

But she must have her chance to live,
To work her problems out,
The privilege to grow and learn
What life is all about.

And I must share my little girl
With friends and work and play;
She’s not a baby anymore –
She’s in Kindergarten today.

Roll Roll Papas Wheel Chair Race!

Who knew you could have so much fun on Grandpas scooters! These girls had a ball playing with them in the alley. Had Papa a littl on edge though I think...luckley everyone including the scooters came out okay in the end!

Avary Turns 3!

Happy Birthday Avary Grace!!! Can not believe she is 3 already! When we asked her what she wanted for her birthday she said Shoes and a Baby! She had to pick out her owns shoes...its so funny to watch this girl shoe shop...if you didnt know better you would think you were watching a 16 year old girl go on the hunt for the perfect pair of shoes! :) She had already told me what baby she wanted so she got that early this morning as she mommyed that doll all day! The rest of the day we went to Sioux City and the girls decided with some help from Daddy that they wanted to see the new Transformers movie...which was all and all a pretty good but LONG movie. They were both pretty intertained by it though so it worked for me! :) Tonight we had Ice Cream Cake with both sets for Grandparents! I hope you had a Great Day Avary Grace I love you! :)
